Sage 50 Mobile

Sage 50 Mobile provides on-the-go access to your finances wherever you are and you can even create new customers, quotes and invoices on the spot. It provides access to Sage 50 Accounts using a mobile device. So if you visit customers and want access to your accounts data, or want to be able to do a stock take from your mobile straight into Sage Accounts, Sage 50 Mobile is for you. Other features include:

Dashboard An overview of your bank, customer and supplier balances for a snapshot view of your company.
Customers

From here you can search customer records and view information such as trading information, invoices, quotations and aged debt. You can also create customer records, sales orders, invoices and quotations.

Note: Sales orders are only available in Sage 50 Accounts Professional.

Suppliers

From here you can search supplier records and view trading activities, outstanding purchase orders and credit control information.

My Company From here you can search product details, pricing and stock and apply consistent discount and pricing information to quotes, orders and invoices. Search project details and activities.
More

From here you can search and view price list information and view bank activities. View the company headlines or a profit and loss report. Add customer or supplier records to your favourites.

To configure Sage 50 MobileOpen this section

  1. Tools > Internet Options > Mobile > Enable Mobile > select UK or ROI as applicable > OK > Next.
  2. Select either Set up access for me only or Set up access for me and others > Next.
  3. Enter your Sage Passport details. This is the email address and password you would normally use to access www.sage.co.uk > Next.

    Tip: If you don't have a Sage Passport account, in the Login window, turn on the mobile option and choose to Create a new one. Read more

  4. Enter your Sage 50 Accounts software username and password. We recommend you use the MANAGER details for the first user you create > Next.
  5. If you chose to set up access for yourself and others, to add other users > Add New > complete as required.

    After setting up each user, you can edit their access rights by clearing or selecting the check boxes, as required.

  6. Repeat this stage for all of the required users > Next > Finish.

After completing the Connected Apps wizard for the first time, the Enable Mobile option changes to Configure Mobile. You can now use this wizard to edit and add new users as required.

Note: You must follow these steps in each company that you want to access through Sage 50 Connected Apps.


To download the Sage 50 Mobile appOpen this section

  1. Ensure the computer that holds your Sage Accounts data is switched on and connected to the internet.
  2. Download the Sage 50 Accounts Mobile app on your mobile.

    iPhone or iPad

    You must download and install the iPhone or iPad App through the App Store.

    Android

    You must download and install the Android App through the App Store.

    BlackBerry
    • You can download it to your computer and install it using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
    • Alternatively, you can install it directly onto your BlackBerry.
  3. Open the downloaded application > enter your Sage Passport email address and password.

  4. From the list, select the required company.
